AWSTRALIA

A’R

CLODDFEYDD AUR.

Nac wylwch wrth heddyw ymadael â ni,
Hyf ydym, a dewrion ein hunain;
I ororau yr aur, lle mae cyfoeth a bri,
Rhagluniaeth y nef sy’n ein harwain;
Nac wylwch, er gorfod ’n awr ganu ‘Yn Iach!’
Yn fuan, cawn lanio ’n Awstralia;
A dychwelwn yn ol yn mhen enyd fach:
Yr Arglwydd o’r nef yw ein noddfa.”
Daniel Ddu o Fonwrth gychwyn.

AUSTRALIA

AND THE

GOLDFIELDS.

Weep ye not on leaving us today,
We are stout, intrepid and strong;
To golden shores of wealth and fame,
Providence leads us on;
Weep ye not, though we sing ‘Farewell!’
In Australia soon we shall land;
To return again in just a spell:
Kept safe by our Lord God’s hand.”
Daniel Ddu o Fonon setting sail.
